This role is perfectly suited to a Middleweight Web Developer / PHP Developer seeking to join an agency at the forefront of online technology and creativity. Joining our established digital team you will be responsible for building a diverse and interesting array of digital projects, ranging from full ecommerce solutions to social networking widgets.
You will play a key development role, working as part of a larger team on major projects or by yourself on smaller ones. To qualify you will need to:
- Be highly motivated and proactive, relishing the challenge of working in a dynamic, growing business
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy a good challenge
- Have previous commercial programming experience
- Be proficient in hand coding PHP (PHP4 & PHP5), XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, MySQL
- Have proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform issues, and dedicated to Web standards
- Have experience of frameworks, particularly with JavaScript Jquery library
- Be confident working as part of a larger team or on your own to meet agreed development timescales
You should ideally be at a Middleweight to Senior level with a solid grounding in the forementioned technologies: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XHTML, CSS etc.
Any exposure to: Java, Flash, XSLT, XML, Linux, Wordpress, Expression Engine, Subversion, Information Architecture, Web standards and W3C compliance, Relational database design or cross-browser support would be advantageous.
