In 2004 we were tasked with redeveloping the Working Title web site. The redesign had two clear objectives; give Working Title as much control as possible over the day-to-day maintenance of the site and increase traffic. The previous Flash site was subsequently replaced with a HTML interface with Flash elements, all underpinned by a bespoke PHP Content Management System. After training members of the marketing team, Working Title were in a position to add news stories and special features, create new film pages, create competitions, manage their email marketing and access user stats.
The site is consequently updated several times a week by people at Working Title (with our ongoing assistance on graphic design) and consistently performs well on Search. As well as now boasting over 60% of all traffic from search engine referral the site has increased average monthly traffic figures by over 300% as well as increasing the registered user base by over 400%.
